Ying Wang received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and doctor degrees in signal and information processing from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2003, 2006, and 2010 respectively. She is now an associate professor of Circuits and systems in Xidian University. Her research interests include multimodal data processing and analysis based on artificial intelligence, content cognition of high-dimensional image data (such as medical and remote sensing data).
She has published more than 30 well-known international journals and conference papers related to image data analysis. In recent years, she has presided over many projects such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shaanxi Natural Science Foundation, China Postdoctoral fund, etc., and participated in many research topics as the main research participants (many national natural science foundation, many horizontal projects). As the main finisher, she won the first prize of 2011 Shaanxi Science and Technology Award (ranking fourth) and the first prize of 2011 University Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education (ranking second). And she is also act as a review expert of several internationally renowned journals.
